Appointments are available with the doctor of your choice and at a time that suits you.
Prescriptions
If you are taking regular medication prescribed by the practice, you can request repeat prescriptions by emailing your doctor’s PA. We request that you do this prior to your medication actually running out. Prescriptions may take up to 24 hours to prepare. We have a duty of care to see all our patients once a year, so it is possible you may be asked to consult with a doctor before a further prescription can be issued. All prescriptions will be charged for, unless issued during a consultation
24 hour cover - 365 days a year
When the practice is closed (from 6pm to 8.30am) we have an Out of Hours Emergency Service which covers evenings, nights, weekends and bank holidays. We operate this service with doctors from another local practice. Whether you need urgent advice on the telephone or a home visit by the doctor, this can be arranged. The Out of Hours doctors invoice our patients directly for any services they provide - domiciliary visits, telephone advice and prescriptions.
Bespoke appointments
Video and telephone consultations will be charged at the same rate as face-to-face appointments, according to the time taken and action required. Other telephone and email advice will continue to be charged at the doctor’s discretion. Repeat prescriptions are chargeable and can be requested by sending an email to your doctor’s PA.
